Vision World Mission was founded by Apostle Tumba Kanyinda in June 2003, as part of the outreach ministry of Tampa Harvest Church in Florida.  

The branches of Vision World Mission stretched from Canada, USA, Europe and Africa. In January 2007, Apostle King James of United Ministries International and Apostle Tumba of Vision World Mission came together by divine appointment and decided to join the two organizations together.  

In February 2007 Apostle King James was taken into glory to be with the Lord. In August 2007, the name of Christ Global Ministries was adopted, and Apostle Tumba Kanyinda as its new President. The Vision lives on.

We believe that if we are called to build with Jesus Christ His church, it should be the way He instructed it: upon the revelation of Christ, the Rock and the Anointing. 

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Builder of His Church; we are just co-laborers with Him. Ps 127:1 Except the Lord builds the house. They labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. 

We believe in the Kingdom of God on earth and His authority being exercised by the five governmental gifts namely: The Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. Eph. 4:11. 

We believe that the Body of Christ will rise up as unified force to be reckoned with in the earth before the eminent return of our Lord for the righteous.  

We believe that Jesus is the Son of the Living God. 

We believe all men are born sinners and in dying need of a Savior, and that Savior is Jesus Christ. 

We believe men’s heart need to be restored by the renewing of their mind through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe there is a heaven and there is a hell. Heaven is for those who have believed and trusted their lives in Jesus Christ. Hell is for the damned souls who have rejected Jesus and have chosen to live selfishly for themselves. 

We believe men cannot change without the power of the Holy Spirit. 

We believe Jesus was born of a womb of a woman through a virgin birth. He was fully man and fully God. 

We believe Jesus is coming again to take His church to heaven.  

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the manifestation of the Spirit in every believer. 

We believe in speaking in tongues as the expression of the Holy Spirit. 

We believe in water baptism as testimony of faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We baptize by fully immersing into the water. 

We believe in the operation of all the spiritual gifts in the church setting to help and equip believers.
